THOMAS ROUSSEL

A SMALL APARTMENT ROOM TRANSFORMED INTO AN INTIMATE PRODUCTION STUDIO.

Owner: Thomas Roussel
Contractor: Red House Acoustics
General contractor: Red House Factory
Location: Paris

When Thomas Roussel contacted us, the challenge was to convert a 7m² space into a creative and production studio!

To create a link with the rest of the apartment while offering uncompromising acoustic performance, we designed walls that look like "hard" white walls, but which are actually just stretched fabric covering an acoustic treatment.

To give this little production gem a contemporary touch, the suspended ceiling of curved strata was inspired by the "faux synthé" work given to Thomas by Daniel Arsham and installed in the studio.

At the same time, to optimize his creative space in this small room, a master keyboard was custom-built into the studio office.
