RED HOUSE
We are acousticians, designers, engineers, musicians, studio managers, mixers, craftsmen.
We believe in the power of encounters, in the vibration of sound and feeling, in creativity. The kind that brings people together, the kind that drives us forward. We love challenges,
and taking them on. The little details in the hidden corners.
We are the Red House.
OUR EXPERTISE
Red House is structured around three complementary areas: an acoustic design office, the design and creation of sound spaces, and a recording studio and artist residence.
Red House Acoustics
Red House is an acoustic design office that brings together music and sound enthusiasts: acousticians, designers, engineers, musicians, studio managers, mixers and craftsmen.
We're Red House, and we'll help you find the perfect sound.
Red House Factory
Red House Factory orchestrates the complete creation of studios and acoustic spaces.
A true general contractor, it integrates all the skills needed to bring tailor-made projects to fruition,
from design to turnkey delivery.
Specializing in the design and construction of custom-designed recording studios, Red House offers its expertise and know-how for all types of venues: concert halls, cinemas, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, offices...
Red House Residence & Red House Studio
Red House was born in 2003 from Lucas Medus's passion for construction, design and music. Established in the family country house in La Forestière, a small village in Champagne-Ardenne, the recording studio attracted Lucas' musician friends to its walls. Impressed by the already obvious quality of the layout, they in turn told other musicians interested in the possibility of recording in such a well-designed, atypical space.
The Red House is also a unique residency and creative space in Champagne, designed to offer artists an immersive musical experience combining exceptional acoustics and an inspiring atmosphere.

THEY TRUST US
Labo -M- | Matthieu Chedid
“With Lucas and the Red House, we went far beyond that dream with the ambition to push the boundaries and create a truly unique place.
It's a place that embodies the very source of music, with mostly analog equipment, and reflects all my great passions for legendary music.
And at the same time, it is a place with incredible acoustics, cutting-edge technology, and above all, filled with symbols hidden in shapes and materials.
That is what makes this place, for me, both deeply poetic and
a source of inspiration … and totally alive”
MYD
“Red House understood that I didn't want my studio to be just four walls and cables.
Mine had to be a living, blue organism. A place that changes with me, that changes depending on the angle from which you experience it, a studio that listens to me as much as I listen to it.”
The Party | Dorion & Youssef
“Red House masterfully understood our creative intentions, our acoustic dreams, and our technical constraints
, and delivered a stage design and sound system that fully embody our ambitions for La Fête's dance floor.”
MEET THE FOUNDERS OF RED HOUSE
Lucas Medus, acoustician, sound engineer, and designer, is the principal founder of Red House, established in 2005.
To launch Red House Acoustics in 2019, he teamed up with two friends he met at the beginning of the Red House adventure: architect Balthazar Loret and acoustician Julien Ravary.
For Red House Factory and the construction division created in 2018, Lucas Medus teamed up with Amaury Mazars, who came from the large-scale construction industry.
Together, they form the team of founding partners of Red House.
