CHLOÉ THÉVENIN
CONVERSION OF COMMERCIAL PREMISES IN PARIS' 20TH ARRONDISSEMENT INTO A PRODUCTION STUDIO FOR CHLOÉ THÉVENIN AND HER LUMIÈRE NOIRE LABEL.
Customer: Chloé Thévenin
Contractor: Red House Acoustics
General contractor: Red House Factory
Location: Paris 20th arrondissement
In the winter of 2024, Chloé approached Red House to transform a commercial space in Paris's 20th arrondissement into a production studio and home base for her Lumière Noire label.
After visiting and analyzing his former studio, as well as numerous discussions, we pinpointed the need: to create a space centered around his composition equipment, while retaining a welcoming "living room" feel.
The limited surface area of the room, combined with the multitude of synthesizers and effects, meant that all the elements had to be carefully integrated to ensure ergonomic working conditions.
Every inch of the studio has a purpose. Shelves and shelves are dimensioned to match the size of the machines. The bench seating is designed to comfortably accommodate two people. Internal acoustics are concealed behind a transonic fabric finish, and glazing is positioned to maximize light.
