STUDIO QUAI SON
A MAJOR PROJECT
FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL STUDIO.
Owner: Quai Son
Project manager: Red House Acoustics
General contractor: CreVaDan Design
Surface: 95 m².
When the Quai Son studio team came to us, the project was simple: set up a control room at the bottom of a garden, nothing more. But as we met and exchanged ideas, heard the wishes of some and the suggestions of others, the project matured and grew, becoming increasingly crazy.

In the end, it revolved around one guiding idea: the need to be able to accommodate the best musicians, to be able to record any note as faithfully as possible, in the best possible conditions.
After completing a 1.80 m (!) excavation for the project, the focus of the Live Room's work was set: the futuristic ceiling, designed from dense fiberboard panels, incorporates a complex diffusion and absorption treatment.
A lively, balanced sound environment, visually stimulating yet comfortable to use.
The furniture, designed by Red House Acoustics and realized by CreVaDan Design, was conceived in close collaboration with the Quai Son team.
It is intended to accommodate the SSL900 console, and is composed of a set of modules to match the studio equipment.
The alternation of medium, mutliplis, and walnut gives a unique materiality and rhythm to the plasticity of the furniture, while interacting with the lines of the studio.
